I’m really happy and excited to be selected as one of the Literature Wales bursary award recipients in 2019. I’ll be working on my first novel.

Very happy that my short film Well Actually was screened at Berlin Feminist Film Week in March 2018. Watch it here.

I was really pleased to have two of my poetry films selected for film festivals in 2017. Windows was shortlisted at Cardiff Mini Film Festival and Magpies was shortlisted at Juteback Poetry Film Festival. Head to my Films page to watch them.

Thanks to the awesome online poetry magazine Amaryllis for featuring my poetry film Windows on their website. Take a look here.

Are your friends weird? Mine are. In my show, Stories About My Weird Friends, I look at friendship, dating, and the weird journeys on which they take us. Told through performance poetry, theatre and song, this is a playful and engaging odyssey of whimsy, silliness and sadness (with funny bits).

“Hilarious…an absolute delight to watch” A Younger Theatre

“Lyrical and poetic…engaging” Views From The Gods

The show is currently available for festivals and one-off performances. If you a festival organiser interested in booking the show, please email me on lucymcorbett@googlemail.com.

You can buy the script of Stories About My Weird Friends from Amazon here. You can also order it from bookshops or buy directly from me (which is usually cheaper! Send me an email and we’ll sort something out).
